A-synuclein
Blood Biomarker for Parkinson Disease
Alpha-synuclein is a protein found at the specialized structures in neurons called perisynaptic terminals.

The normal range of aA-synuclein in plasma is less than 15,000 pg/ml.
Above 15,00 pg/ml A-synuclein levels will indicate a high risk of Parkison disease development and intervention therapy is advised.
