INTRODUCTION
There are various reports on the presence of anti-nucleosome antibodies in active systemic
lupus erythematosus (SLE) and their role in the evolution of disease activity in patients with
SLE, suggesting that the determination of circulating anti-nucleosome antibodies could be a
useful parameter for early diagnosis and follow-up of SLE patients.FORMULATION
Liquid in storage buffer (20 mM HEPES, 0.1 M NaCl, 1-mM EDTA, 1 mM 2-mercaptoethanol,
Protease inhibitor, pH 7.5).APPLICATION/ USAGE
Standard ELISA test, line/dot assay and microarray assay with positive/negative sera panels.
QUALITY CONTROL TEST
SDS PAGE gel and DNA gel analysis to determine purity of the protein.
STORAGE
Store at -20°C to -80°C upon receiving. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller
quantities for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles.IMMUNOLOGICAL FUNCTION
As an autoantigen, Nucleosome binds with IgG-type human auto-antibodies.
